The Connecticut Open’s mission is to leverage the excitement of world-class women’s tennis to benefit the community and maximize support for women’s, youth and military causes in Connecticut.

CT Food Bank – throughout the tournament and in partnership with ShopRite and the Food Bank, fans helped to raise $8,175, 16,350 meals to those in need statewide.

Soles4Souls – leading into, during and in the weeks following the 2016 Connecticut Open, fans, players and partners donated 550 pounds of shoes for Soles4Souls, an organization that recycles and redistributes shoes to people in need throughout the U.S. and worldwide. Shoe collection points were placed statewide, in the player locker rooms and at the main entrance of the tournament for fans and players to donate.
