New Haven, Conn (Aug. 4, 2016) – Leveraging the excitement of professional women’s tennis, the 2016 Connecticut Open presented by United Technologies invites fans to support Connecticut nonprofits and charitable causes during the tournament, August 19-27, at the Connecticut Tennis Center at Yale in New Haven. This year, fans can donate shoes and bring items for a local Food Bank, raise funds for breast cancer research and support military causes.
