The Connecticut Open is set to launch a holiday ticket campaign aimed at giving back to the community it serves and encouraging fans to snap up tickets to see world-class women’s tennis in New Haven next summer.

Tickets for the 2018 tournament will go on sale in time for the holiday season, with 50 per cent of proceeds being donated back to local non-profit organizations and a 25 per cent discount on individual session prices.

“We are excited to be able to give fans the opportunity to purchase our very best 2018 tickets in time for the holidays this year,” said Tournament Director Anne Worcester. “In keeping with our charity mission, 50 per cent of proceeds will go back to area non-profits. Supporting our community through charitable activities will always be our priority and we believe this creative promotion is enticing for tennis enthusiasts while also helping those in need. We have made incredible seats available in our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum price categories and hope to get our 2018 sales off to a great start.”

The Holiday Sale – which begins at 12 noon EST on Wednesday, December 6 and runs through midnight on Friday, January 5 - will integrate the tournament’s 50/50 program, which allows area non-profits to fundraise by selling discounted tickets (25 per cent off individual sessions) to their donors, boards and patrons via a specific code (listed in full below).  Sale prices range from $23.25 (bronze level, session 1/Kids Day) to $107.25 (platinum level, session 11/women’s semifinal and men’s legends).

Tickets can be purchased through the tournament website http://www.ctopen.org/Tickets/daily_tickets/
or by calling the box office at 1-855-464-8366.  A generic code - CO18HOLIDAY - can be used by customers not aligned with a specific charity and the proceeds will go to New HYTES (New Haven Youth Tennis & Education).
